KINGDOM of GOD verses

 

Matthew 6:33

King James Version

33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, 

and his righteousness; 

and all these things shall be added 

unto you.


What is the kingdom of GOD?

Where shall we find it?

What do we find there?

Why is it important to know about it?

How do we get there?

As always, SPIRIT and Scripture have much to reveal.

1 Chronicles 29:10-13

for ever and ever.

11 Thine, O Lord is the greatness, and the power, 

and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty:

thine is the kingdom, O Lord,

12 Both riches and honour come of thee,

Psalm 103:19

19 The Lord hath prepared his throne

Daniel 2:44

44 And in the days of these kings 

shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, 

which shall never be destroyed: 

and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, 

but it shall break in pieces 

and consume all these kingdoms, 

and it shall stand for ever.


Daniel 7:27

King James Version

27 And the kingdom and dominion, 

and the greatness of the kingdom 

under the whole heaven, 

shall be given to the people 

of the saints of the most High, 

whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, 

and all dominions shall serve and obey him.


Zechariah 14:8-9

that living waters shall go out from Jerusalem;

Matthew 25:31-40

Mark 1:14-15

Luke 10:8-9

The kingdom of God is come nigh unto you.


Luke 10:10-12

Luke 12:29-31

31 But rather seek ye the kingdom of God;

Luke 12:32-34

32 Fear not, little flock; 

for it is your Father's good pleasure 

to give you the kingdom.

33 Sell that ye have, and give alms; 

provide yourselves bags which wax not old, 

a treasure in the heavens that faileth not, 

where no thief approacheth,

there will your heart be also.


Luke 13:27-30

Luke 17:20-21

when the kingdom of God should come,

The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:

21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! 

for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.


John 3:3-8

3 Jesus answered and said unto him, 

Verily, verily, I say unto thee, 

Except a man be born again, 

he cannot see the kingdom of God.

4 Nicodemus saith unto him, 

How can a man be born when he is old? 

can he enter the second time 

into his mother's womb, and be born?

Verily, verily, I say unto thee, 

Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, 

he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; 

and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

Ye must be born again.

8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, 

and thou hearest the sound thereof, 

but canst not tell whence it cometh, 

and whither it goeth:

John 18:36

Acts 28:30-31

31 Preaching the kingdom of God, 

and teaching those things 

which concern the Lord Jesus Christ, 

with all confidence, no man forbidding him.


Romans 14:17-19

not meat and drink; 

but righteousness, and peace, 

and joy in the Holy Ghost.

18 For he that in these things serveth Christ 

is acceptable to God, and approved of men.

1 Corinthians 6:9-11

Ephesians 2:18-22

2 Peter 1:10-11

Revelation 11:15-19

are become the kingdoms of our Lord, 

and of his Christ;

We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, 

which art, and wast, and art to come;

unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints,

Revelation 21:1-8

new Jerusalem, 

coming down from God out of heaven, 

prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, 

and he will dwell with them, 

and they shall be his people, 

and God himself shall be with them, 

and be their God.

4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; 

and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, 

nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: 

for the former things are passed away.

5 And he that sat upon the throne said, 

Behold, I make all things new. 

And he said unto me, 

Write: for these words are true and faithful.

6 And he said unto me, It is done. 

I am Alpha and Omega, 

the beginning and the end. 

I will give unto him that is athirst 

of the fountain of the water of life freely.

7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; 

and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.

8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, 

and the abominable, and murderers, 

and whoremongers, and sorcerers, 

and idolaters, and all liars, 

shall have their part in the lake 

which burneth with fire and brimstone: 

which is the second death.


Now that you know, surely you'd want to have the kingdom of GOD in you, which is the HOLY SPIRIT.

Romans 14:17

King James Version

17 For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; 

but righteousness, and peace, 

and joy in the Holy Ghost.


SPIRIT is the One Who teaches us EVERYTHING we need to know in these last days.

JESUS told us so:

John 14:26 

King James Version

26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, 

whom the Father will send in my name, 

he shall teach you all things, 

and bring all things to your remembrance, 

whatsoever I have said unto you.


For surely we are in the last days, being given grace, and an opportunity to do right by GOD.

Each day, we are given a chance to believe in JESUS, repent of our sins, become born again, follow Him, and give ALL GLORY to GOD.

The Rapture is the next event in GOD's timeline.

On a day only known to GOD.

JESUS reminded us of that:

Mark 13:32-33

King James Version

32 But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, 

no, not the angels which are in heaven, 

neither the Son, but the Father.

33 Take ye heed, watch and pray: 

for ye know not when the time is.


As you would want to have GOD's kingdom in you, as you traverse daily life, you would want to be part of the Rapture, and not be left behind for the great Tribulation.

Sure, we have daily tribulations, but the "day of the Lord" is what we should fear most.

Be part of the kingdom, and the Rapture to come.

It is a foolish man who will want to be part of the great Tribulation.

May the HOLY SPIRIT open your hearts to GOD's TRUTH.

And the PEACE of the LORD JESUS be with you.
