Romans 7:24

24 O wretched man that I am!
who shall deliver me
from the body of this death?
The world loves tangible.
They want something "concrete".
Is it any wonder they've turned to "idols"?
They've occupied themselves with "empty" stuff.
And have sinned greatly against the LORD, in the process.
In the Old Testament, they had gold, wood, and stone idols.
They had their "groves".
Something that angered GOD greatly.
Idolatry was an abomination to GOD.
1 Kings 14:15
King James Version
15 For the Lord shall smite Israel,
as a reed is shaken in the water,
and he shall root up Israel out of this good land,
which he gave to their fathers,
and shall scatter them beyond the river,
because they have made their groves,
provoking the Lord to anger.
In today's world, people look to other people, to "idolize".
They also want to be idolized.
They look to "influencers".
They look to face, fame, and fortune.
They hanker for material possessions.
They desire to be famous.
They desire to "rule".
They want to be "liked".
They've forgotten GOD.
They don't know JESUS.
They have no idea the HOLY SPIRIT's power.
They're focused on "status",
not SPIRIT.
They want something they can "grasp".
Whether literally, or symbolically.
Thing is, SPIRIT cannot be grasped.
Precisely why people resist.
Or are lazy to know more about SPIRIT.
And yet, if you found what I've found, you'll marvel no end.
We have 112 blogs, thousands of articles, and 24 ebooks as proof.
SPIRIT is not tangible.
He is "Unseen".
JESUS describes the HOLY SPIRIT:
John 14:17
King James Version
17 Even the Spirit of truth;
whom the world cannot receive,
because it seeth him not,
neither knoweth him:
but ye know him;
for he dwelleth with you,
and shall be in you.
He also describes SPIRIT in those born again:
John 3:8
King James Version
8 The wind bloweth where it listeth,
and thou hearest the sound thereof,
but canst not tell whence it cometh,
and whither it goeth:
so is every one
that is born of the Spirit.
Unless GOD makes you born again, you will not understand Scripture.
You will not be able to unravel its astounding "treasures".
You will not know how to rightly interpret the Bible.
You need SPIRIT, to teach you about JESUS.
For JESUS will teach you about GOD.
If people suffer a lot today, it's mainly for ignorance.
No thanks to Satan's influence, and programming.
But there's a cure.
SPIRIT is the "antidote" to ignorance.
Satan keeps you in ignorance.
SPIRIT keeps you in TRUTH.
Merriam-Webster defines "antidote" here:
: a remedy to counteract the effects of poison
: something that relieves, prevents, or counteracts
Consider SPIRIT as a "reversal agent".
Something to "counteract" with.
JESUS speaks of the "Spirit of truth":
John 15:26

26 But when the Comforter is come,
whom I will send unto you from the Father,
even the Spirit of truth,
which proceedeth from the Father,
he shall testify of me:
The "Spirit of truth" accomplishes these:
John 14:26
King James Version
26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost,
whom the Father will send in my name,
he shall teach you all things,
and bring all things to your remembrance,
whatsoever I have said unto you.
The world is bereft of TRUTH.
You need SPIRIT to teach you about GOD, JESUS, Scripture, CHRIST's enemy, and GOD's laws.
GOD is the LIVING WATERS
JESUS is the BREAD of LIFE.
SPIRIT is the BREATH of LIFE.
The TRIUNE GOD is the ONLY Source of TRUE Sustenance.
Your ONLY SOURCE of peace, love, joy, truth, happiness, contentment, and SALVATION.
We all need saving.
We need to be saved from ourselves, from sin, from each other, from Satan, and from ignorance.
We have no idea the danger we are all in.
ESPECIALLY in these END times.
And as the Rapture hovers.
Why do people drink alcohol?
They don't call them "spirits" for nothing.
Why do people take drugs?
They want a "high".
Why do people go to mountaintops?
They want to experience "exhilaration".
And yet, they all "tumble", after these lose its initial "kick".
The "spirits", the "high", the "exhilaration" is but temporary.
What people are really seeking is SPIRIT.
The ULTIMATE High, which ONLY GOD can give.
Isaiah 57:15
King James Version
15 For thus saith the high and lofty One
that inhabiteth eternity,
whose name is Holy;
I dwell in the high and holy place,
with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit,
to revive the spirit of the humble,
and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.
People want something that lasts.
They feel miserable because no one tells them truth.
They are deceived all the time.
They are taken advantage of most of the time.
They don't know who to trust anymore.
You need GOD's SPIRIT to fill this "emptiness" you have.
You will be released from the "prison" of your flesh.
Galatians 5:16-18
King James Version
16 This I say then,
Walk in the Spirit,
and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.
17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit,
and the Spirit against the flesh:
and these are contrary the one to the other:
so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.
18 But if ye be led of the Spirit,
ye are not under the law.
I'm able to write all these, because GOD made me born again.
He anointed me with His SPIRIT.
I am ignorant no longer.
With SPIRIT comes knowledge.
The kind you can trust.
