The LITTLE watchman

 

Matthew 19:14

14 But Jesus said, 

Suffer little children, 

and forbid them not, to come unto me: 

for of such is the kingdom of heaven.

Is it possible a grandmother and a grandchild can have such stark, differing thoughts about good and evil?

Seems to be the case, if I were to tell you about what I witnessed the other day.

I had about just gotten off the commuter jeep, bound for home, when I noticed a neighbor unloading some carabao horns from a parked van.

Of course, being an entrepreneur, she was going to sell them.

She offered one to me.

In the Philippines, as in Texas, some folks like having horns grace the front of their trucks.

She offered the idea to others, too.

Well, at her shop doorstep was a little girl.

I don't believe I've ever seen her before.

(Although it turned out she was the infant I had seen grow up through the years, and by now was a little girl.)

But she took to me, and gave me a large conch shell.

She had two in hand, but offered me one.

I thought to myself, "What's the catch?"

Did I need to buy it?

Or was she really just giving it to me?

Initially, she was.

Then the little mind thought up an "idea".

There's something she wanted me to buy.

Some vague thing about art, or something.

The HOLY SPIRIT conjured up an image for me.

Something that I had found at a school supplies store months ago.

I knew EXACTLY what to give the little one!

Mind you, she was but five years old.

But it seems, she lorded it over that step.

Then I told her about her grandmother's new "acquisitions".

The carabao horns.

She didn't like the idea.

It reminded her of devil's horns.

How is it this little girl had formed an opinion on that so soon?

I believe her folks are of a different sect of religion, but it seems she had already set her mind about those horns.

Then her grandmother gaily gets into the shop, pleased with her goods.

And I think to myself now, the child will have to "live" with those horns in that shop.

I really must get her that art project the HOLY SPIRIT imprinted upon my mind.

When something unusual like this happens, a born again watchman is on alert.

We know we are not alone.

A little one has joined forces.

Maybe she'll lead; who knows?

For as long as there are innocents from GOD, holding fort, there is hope for the world.

For as long as a young mind knows the symbolism of good, and evil, we ought to be grateful.

Remember what JESUS said of the "little ones":

Matthew 18:1-7

18 At the same time 

came the disciples unto Jesus, saying, 

Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?

2 And Jesus called a little child unto him, 

and set him in the midst of them,

3 And said, Verily I say unto you, 

Except ye be converted, 

and become as little children, 

ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

4 Whosoever therefore 

shall humble himself as this little child, 

the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

5 And whoso shall receive 

one such little child in my name receiveth me.

6 But whoso shall offend

were hanged about his neck, 

and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.

7 Woe unto the world because of offences!

A horn, or a shell?

The first, offered by the grandmother.

The second, offered by a child.

As if I even need to think about it.

May JESUS shine His LIGHT upon that household, and protect that child.

As it is, she's holding fort.

And I'm right there with her.

1 Corinthians 10:21

21 Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, 

and the cup of devils: 

ye cannot be partakers of the Lord's table, 

and of the table of devils.

It may all look so fun, and innocent.

This, I witnessed yesterday, in my own city, outside of America.

A couple of young boys, with eyes darkened; their mom standing by their side, waiting for a cab.

Kids made up to look like zombies.

Their bored, unhappy mien, reflected the dark spirit of the times.

I knew then, they were going to the mall, to do the once-a-year "trick or treat" thing.

Kids dressed up as ghouls, vampires, or zombies.

In the U.S., I came across a store that opened but once a year, where kids and adults bought their fantasy outfits.

Many adult outfits suggested lustful, bizarre parties in store.

That's why they were in "store", at the store, for a whole year.

Imagine opening up shop just once a year, selling Hollow Wean paraphernalia.

It was the time of the year parents hold their kids' hands, as they knock on doors, mouthing the words,

"Trick or Treat!"

And the unaware hosts, giving out candies, or presents.

The tradition has gone on, and on, for the longest time.

It's that one time of the year children seem to look forward to.

And adults as well, as they party, armed with their "fantasies".

Catch a date.

Catch a mate.

Catch a fate.

Catch a fake?

These, as people let their hair down, and throwing caution to the wind.

Not knowing they're letting in demons, who eagerly wait by the wayside.

These no-good spirits party alongside unwitting humans.

With Satan pleased, that people remain ignorant.

Mind you, he's got a whole cauldron of such "devices".

To make you stray from GOD, and be in his clutches instead.

But what is Halloween?

As born again watchman, I think of it as "Hollow WEAN".

It is "hollow", devoid of GOD's SPIRIT.

And it's time to be "weaned" from it.

It's time for people to wake up.

These verses ought to give you sufficient warning, each time you unknowingly partake of the devil's festivals.

As JESUS declared:

The RIGHT SPIRIT

JESUS commanded:

Matthew 18:3-4

3 And said, 

Verily I say unto you, 

Except ye be converted,

4 Whosoever therefore 

shall humble himself as this little child, 

the same is greatest 

in the kingdom of heaven.

Being childlike is a danger to society.

It will question many of its ways.

It will challenge many of its methods.

It will uproot many of its old beliefs.

Many organizations, institutions, and industries, will be challenged.

We shall find, many of our work, and functions, will have become obsolete.

And even rendered "useless".

Only because they're a pain to do.

It demands too much of man.

It makes him surrender his time with GOD.

It derails him from his true path.

It steals time from his family.

It makes him a cog in a wheel.

Until he's outlived his "usefulness".

And he's merely replaced with another.

Such is society's cruelty, which many are not aware of.

All they know is being so tired at the end of the day.

And not knowing where the money you earned went to.

Most days, you don't even know where it will be coming from.

Nothing is left at the end of the day, or at the end of your years.

Not even knowing if you're doing the right work, or if your contribution is useful to others.

Nothing seems enough, despite your hard work, or your combined efforts.

You become old, before you're even old.

But being born again is an antidote to Satan's plan.

His plan is to take away the natural mirth, and cheer, from our hearts.

Not to mention the innate innocence we all had.

All the enemy cares about is you lose all sense of your soul, and spirit.

He aims to take away the "childlike" spirit in you.

He wants us to be like him -- old, jaded, bitter, jealous, vengeful, and insane.

But that won't happen, if you have the HOLY SPIRIT in you.

1 John 2:16

16 For all that is in the world, 

the lust of the flesh, 

and the lust of the eyes, 

and the pride of life, 

is not of the Father, 

but is of the world.

Is it wise to rely fully on online purchases of most everything?

Is it smart to go full digital?

This article was triggered by this short, eight-minute video reporting about 15,000 stores closing in America.

Brick-and-mortar stores like CVS, Walgreens, Macy's, are closing, as reported by a UK news agency.

People reason it's because there's giant Amazon, founded  in 1994, which sells most everything online.

In my country, people have gone nuts over Singapore-founded Shopee, which existed since 2015.

There was a time Alibaba was hot, founded in 1999, but it seems China clipped Jack Ma's wings.

You know how billionaires momentarily disappear in China, for "re-education".

The covid crisis did it.

All this change on people's buying habits.

For, let's face it, the world is founded on "commerce".

All planned to prime, and prepare us, for the elite's greater agenda.

People were scared to go out, and get infected.

Thus, e-commerce came on strong.

Corollary industries were born.

Logistics, most of all.

How to deliver?

Vans and motorcycles.

There are more motorcycles in the Philippines now, where decades ago, I only noticed lots of them in Thailand, and India.

Now, delivery is big business.

In my city alone, there are little stores where people can pick up, and drop off goods sold online.

Buying of goods has become impersonal now.

All you need is your phone, your app, payment methods, and you're off!

People delight in receiving goods at home, no matter how tiny, or inconsequential the item may be.

It's the delight in receiving, and paying cheaply for it.

People like to shop online now.

Either people are tired, lazy, curious, excited, smart, moneyed, indifferent, or prefer to be anonymous.

Slowly, the human element 

is being scrapped out of this world system.

Thing is, certain bombs can paralyze electronic systems.

Imagine how that will affect military, governments, transportation, businesses, and medical establishments.

So, why are people so addicted to electronic systems?

It won't be surprising -- after the Rapture of believers -- that the world will fully embrace what Satan has planned for them.

And that's when they'll see how wrong they were about relying on full digitalization.

By then, it's too late to back out.

Revelation 13:16-17

rich and poor, 

free and bond,

in their right hand, 

or in their foreheads:

17 And that no man might buy or sell, 

save he that had the mark, 

or the name of the beast, 

or the number of his name.

Today, mom-and-pop stores, brick-and-mortar stores, are endangered.

But I doubt if they'll fully disappear.

They said that about "paper" before.

We still have paper.

That's why they thought of "climate change".

"Save the trees!"

Yeah, but people still wanted things "on paper".

Now, they want plastic out, and back to paper bags.

Those can't quite hold frozen stuff.

We're wasting more paper than ever.

Who's insane here?

But that's for another story.

But that's the agenda.

FULL digitalization.

FULL reliance on electronic systems.

FULL control of you, and me.

Now, it's all "convenience".

And something hip, trendy, and cool.

Something that would appeal to the young ones.

Robotics, for one.

Transhumanism, for another.

That's why the "planners", mostly the woke left, couldn't care less what gender we prefer to have for ourselves.

The stranger, the better.

After all, Satan wants humans wiped out.

He likes us steeped in sin, and perversions.

But not after, he's fished our brain, for the intelligence GOD gave us.

Oh, I tell you -- Satan is mighty jealous of JESUS, and of man.

He hates everything GOD loves.

We've told you that again, and again.

People have gone "app" crazy.

The young are especially susceptible to it.

Baby boomers have aged.

Elites want us out of the game.

Latest targets are young folks now.

WEF has really primed the world for this mega-change.

Founded in 1971 by German engineer, Klaus Schwab, it's all about "efficiency" and "agenda".

Engineers are known for their methodical thinking on "efficiency".

As early as the 1980s, I've known that about German engineers, and production, and I must admit I've avoided them, to a point.

I once worked for a factory in an export processing zone, and this engineer had a Taiwanese wife.

You can imagine such rigid combination regarding "efficiency".

My gentle, artist's heart got the shock of its life.

I left soon afterwards, when I saw the "assembly line".

It was definitely not for friendships, nor small talk.

Nor to enjoy the work you do.

You worked like a machine.

But that factory literally fell after the terrible 16 July 1990 earthquake -- a 7.8 one -- which devastated our city.

By that time, I was already in the big city, working for the expat community, as managing editor, and photojournalist.

As born again workman, this is what I've noticed about technology, thus, SPIRIT and I created the 55th blog then, explaining things this way.

This we wrote on 11 September 2022:

"...GOD always plucks me out, RIGHT before technology hits my studies, or work.

Seems He wanted me untarnished by trends.

For, I was to be workman, and observer, documenting the times.

And I'm here to make you aware, through Scripture, that we must only worship GOD.

We must not worship technology.

We must not worship inventors of technology.

We are not to have any other gods, but GOD.

We're all fallible humans.

We don't have the vision, and wisdom GOD has.

Wherein He knows the heart of man.

I'm no prophet.

But GOD led me to Bible prophecy three years ago.

JESUS specifically led me to look into the RAPTURE.

And He gave me many telling dreams.

All I do, is pay attention to everything.

The pieces of the puzzle are beginning to fit.

I merely follow the prompts SPIRIT leads me to.

Each moment.

Today, He guided me to look into technology.

Unless we are born again, guided by the SPIRIT of GOD, we won't know how to use technology for good.

Now, we have the means to destroy ourselves.

If our lives are not governed by GOD, we shall surely do that.

Let GOD govern, then!"

I could be a techie, but I choose not to be.

Sure, I understand tech, but I am not beholden to it.

As always, I've kept a wary, and watchful eye over it.

I merely obey what the LORD JESUS commanded:

Matthew 10:16

in the midst of wolves: 

be ye therefore wise as serpents, 

and harmless as doves.

As CHRIST's soldier, I do not want to solder.

I serve the LIVING GOD, whose WORD is TRUTH.

I follow JESUS, the Lord of Lord, and King of Kings.

There is no other GOD, but GOD.

I do not serve any other gods.

That's the greatest danger you can be in.

Use tech for convenience, but don't get carried away.

Keep a wary eye on ey-ay.

As SPIRIT and I keep reminding people:

3 If ye then be risen with Christ, 

seek those things which are above, 

where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.

2 Set your affection on things above, 

not on things on the earth.

JESUS did remind us:

John 15:5

He that abideth in me, and I in him, 

the same bringeth forth much fruit: 

for without me ye can do nothing.

Lastly, we add:

2 Corinthians 3:5

5 Not that we are sufficient of ourselves 

to think any thing as of ourselves; 

but our sufficiency is of God;

Citizens of heaven need only look to JESUS, the SON of GOD.

In Him lies our peace, safety, security, and salvation.

Philippians 3:20-21

20 Our citizenship is in heaven, 

and we eagerly wait for a Savior from there, 

the Lord Jesus Christ. 

21 He will transform

into the likeness of his glorious body,
