TIME to FORTIFY

 

Psalm 18:2

2 The Lord is my rock, 

and my fortress, 

and my deliverer; 

my God, 

my strength, 

in whom I will trust; 

my buckler, 

and the horn of my salvation, 

and my high tower.

It is possible we live in the most dangerous of times.

We've all been infiltrated in so many ways.

Propaganda has filled our souls.

It has muddled the young's thinking.

No thanks to militant organizations who use social media.

No thanks to the left elite who spout misinformation, and fund such militant organizations.

Civil wars, and threats of civil wars are all over the place.

Now, flying your own country's flag is being challenged.

They call nationalism, and patriotism, "racism".

Isaiah 5:20

20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; 

that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; 

that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

And yet we all need to protect our countries from "invaders".

The kind that defiles the soul of our nations.

The kind that starts with the young, our families, our communities, our churches, our cities, and our nations.

The kind that spouts hatred for all things Israel.

Subtle in its infiltration, but savage in its intent.

How Satan has clouded our minds.

It's as if he was let loose, with a vengeance.

And he very well has been.

Revelation 12:12

All because many don't believe in JESUS, the SON of GOD.

It's always been a battle between JESUS, and Satan.

Between LIGHT, and darkness.

Between TRUTH, and lies.

Between LIFE, and death.

On 21 January 2024, we created our 97th blog, "FORTIFY your FORTRESS".

It was but a foreshadowing of things to come.

We felt the danger then.

We feel even more danger now.

Consider the Islamization of the world.

Or the incursions of Marxism, Communism, Socialism, and neo-Nazism.

America and Europe are in great danger.

They have welcomed many immigrants.

And now, they want them out.

Is it too late?

How deep is the infiltration?

Who can you trust now?

Are their chess pieces in place?

Were governments sleeping on the job?

Methinks they were.

The right have allowed the left to rule.

All with disjointed agendas.

If you know anything about CHRIST's enemy, you'd know he is deceitful, destructive, and divisive.

He will feed upon your greed, ego, vanity, lust, and anger.

He will remain in the shadows, but will let people destroy each other.

That's how a sorcerer works.

He's got a SECRET weapon, you know.

He's got many DEVICES.

BEWARE the enemy.

Now is the BEST time to be born again.

That we may be born of the SPIRIT.

And walk with SPIRIT.

As well as be taught by SPIRIT.

And not just any spirit.

It is GOD's HOLY SPIRIT.

We need to know the Bible.

Only SPIRIT can rightfully teach you Scripture.

Only He can teach you about the magnificence of JESUS.

And when you know JESUS, you know REAL POWER.

And yet, JESUS doesn't lay claim to that power.

He always looks to GOD as SOURCE of that POWER.

In JESUS' own words:

John 3:16-17

that he gave his only begotten Son, 

that whosoever believeth in him 

should not perish, but have everlasting life.

17 For God sent not his Son into the world 

to condemn the world; 

but that the world through him 

might be saved.

John 14:10-11

that I am in the Father, 

and the Father in me? 

the words that I speak unto you 

I speak not of myself: 

but the Father that dwelleth in me, 

he doeth the works.

11 Believe me that I am in the Father,

John 17:2-8

It is time to fortify our souls.

There's a siege going on.

Consider your soul, a house.

Your body, a temple.

Your mind, a fortress.

Your body is the TEMPLE of the HOLY SPIRIT.

1 Corinthians 6:19-20

know ye not that your body 

is the temple of the Holy Ghost 

which is in you, 

which ye have of God, 

and ye are not your own?

20 For ye are bought with a price: 

therefore glorify God in your body, 

and in your spirit, 

which are God's.

You need to FORTIFY, through CHRIST JESUS.

THOUGHTS on MORTALITY

 

Hebrews 12:2

2 Looking unto Jesus 

the author and finisher of our faith; 

who for the joy that was set before him 

endured the cross, despising the shame, 

and is set down at the right hand 

of the throne of God.

Just moments ago, I was thinking about my own mortality.

How my life could be gone any minute.

At a moment known only to GOD, by GOD's design.

What would this sinner's message be for the world?

Immediately, the HOLY SPIRIT imprinted upon my heart the words,

"Look to JESUS for everything,

especially your salvation."

That's right!

That's my message for the world!

Wherein we only look to JESUS for everything.

ESPECIALLY our salvation.

2 Timothy 1:9

9 Who hath saved us, 

and called us with an holy calling, 

not according to our works, 

but according to his own purpose and grace, 

which was given us in Christ Jesus 

before the world began,

I don't imagine it would be written on my tombstone.

What tombstone?

I'd be cremated and would want to be with my siblings who have passed on.

I imagine we'd be cramped in a lightweight container I've already chosen for us.

I don't want the rest of my family members lugging two heavy urns, and my light one, all over the place.

I envision my two other siblings and I would be snuggled in my lightweight canister.

That ought to make things easy for everyone.

And on top of that canister will be those words:

"Look to JESUS for everything,

especially your salvation."

Simply as a reminder for all that we need JESUS.

And that HE is EVERYTHING.

John 15:5

5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: 

He that abideth in me, and I in him, 

the same bringeth forth much fruit:

 for without me ye can do nothing.

And that my household belongs to JESUS.

Joshua 24:15

15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, 

choose you this day whom ye will serve; 

whether the gods which your fathers served 

that were on the other side of the flood, 

or the gods of the Amorites, 

in whose land ye dwell: 

but as for me and my house,

It is never too early, nor too late, to think of your mortality.

Plan now how things could be easier for your family.

Leave no burden behind.

Most of all, get right with GOD.

Believe in His Son, JESUS.

Repent of your sins.

Believe the gospel.

Share the gospel.

Mark 1:15

and the kingdom of God is at hand:

and believe the gospel.

That's all that matters anyway.

Either the Rapture could occur before you pass on.

Or you pass on before the Rapture happens.

Important thing is you get right with GOD.

That you're born of the SPIRIT.

Walking with the SPIRIT.

Sharing the gospel.

Doing right by GOD.

Shedding all things "man".

It's what JESUS commanded:

Except a man be born again, 

he cannot see the kingdom of God.

Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit,

and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

Ye must be born again.

and thou hearest the sound thereof,

that is born of the Spirit.

Why this focus on SPIRIT?

Because only He can teach you about JESUS.

John 14:26

which is the Holy Ghost, 

whom the Father will send in my name, 

he shall teach you all things, 

and bring all things to your remembrance, 

whatsoever I have said unto you.

Only SPIRIT can teach you about the Bible.

2 Timothy 3:16-17

16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, 

and is profitable for doctrine, 

for reproof, 

for correction, 

for instruction in righteousness:

17 That the man of God may be perfect, 

thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

GOD is that SPIRIT.

John 4:24

24 God is a Spirit: 

and they that worship him 

must worship him in spirit 

and in truth.

The SPIRIT of TRUTH is what JESUS wants us to have.

John 14:16-17

16 And I will pray the Father, 

and he shall give you another Comforter, 

that he may abide with you for ever;

17 Even the Spirit of truth; 

whom the world cannot receive, 

because it seeth him not, 

neither knoweth him: 

but ye know him; 

for he dwelleth with you, 

and shall be in you.

SPIRIT will teach us about JESUS.

John 15:26

26 But when the Comforter is come, 

whom I will send unto you from the Father, 

even the Spirit of truth, 

which proceedeth from the Father, 

he shall testify of me:

It is one, seamless circle, this thing about the FATHER, the SON, and the HOLY SPIRIT.

They attest to each other.

Never shall we be lost again.

Plan not for earthly things.

Pray for heavenly things.

It's a good way to go.

Walk with, and be born of the SPIRIT.

Live for GOD's will, as JESUS did.

Be aware, and repent of your sins.

Come aboard GOD's ship now.

Matthew 26:52

Everyone's in a conundrum.

If it wasn't so serious, it'd be laughable.

Have the tables been turned on Hamas?

Are they finally getting a dose of their own medicine?

How'd they come to that stuck "position"?

Hamas had strayed past IDF's yellow line (predictably), and are now stuck in their own tunnels.

Let's face it, they will never stop hunting down GOD's people.

They, like the two other "Hs" -- Hezbollah and Houthis -- perpetually seek Israel's destruction.

First chance they could get, they'll re-arm; not disarm.

They'll destroy; not go for peace.

I should like to call them Ham, Hez, and Houths.

The brothers three.

What is Israel to do?

Should they follow what president Trump said that Hamas be allowed to surface, and lay down their arms?

Thing is, until and unless they were found out, and trapped, they just went about their own business.

That of ambushing the IDF.

And now, the tables are turned on them.

But if the IDF floods or bombards the tunnels, that may end Trump's "peace plan".

And we know Trump, and other moneyed Middle Eastern leaders, have a grand plan for that Gaza strip.

Something along the "Riviera" plan, perhaps?

But this much we Scripturally know -- Trumps' very existence, and presidency, hinges upon how he protects Israel.

GOD did say this about His chosen nation:

Genesis 12:3

3 And I will bless them that bless thee, 

and curse him that curseth thee: 

and in thee shall all families of the earth 

be blessed.

But let's take a moment and think.

Did we really think Hamas would "disarm"?

First chance they could get, with IDF moving back from their previously-conquered territories, Hamas moved forward, rather, back underground, intending to harm Israel again. They did kill two IDF soldiers soon after the "peace plan".

Did we really think Hamas can think "peace"?

Weren't they born to destroy Israel?

Did we really think Trump could pull the peace plan off?

Yeah, but there was Egypt, Qatar, Turkey, France, and Canada at the signing, all with their own vested interests.

Weren't they all anti-Israel?

Did we really think many nations could agree on getting off Israel's case?

Ever heard the maxim, "Too many cooks in the kitchen spoil the food?"

Well, that always holds true -- chaos always results.

Everything becomes distasteful.

And unpalatable.

Egos thrive.

We also don't know who's "poisoning" whom.

Of course, everyone -- especially Israel -- would want peace.

Imagine being on edge for over two years since October 7.

Imagine militant Palestinians, deluded university students in America, and Qatar's money arm supporting such terrorists.

Imagine being on the defense all day long.

We have not been in Israel's shoes.

Should Hamas be given a dose of their own medicine?

That the terrorists be allowed to remain for two years in those tunnels, too?

After all, they proudly strutted that they've kept hostages for two years, under the most abject conditions.

They still have to release at least seven dead bodies back to Israel's grieving families.

Personally, this born again workman is mortified.

How can anyone in their right mind, even prey on the dead?

How can anyone sink that low?

There was a time war was kinda "gentlemanly".

The generals spoke to each other, and surrendered, when losing the war.

They didn't hide in tunnels, and broke agreements first chance they could get.

Well, we're dealing with terrorists.

There's nothing gentlemanly about them.

Think depraved, destructive, and deluded.

Think insane, illogical, and indoctrinated.

Think pride, pervasiveness, and propaganda.

We need the LORD's mind to come upon us all.

Should we be worried about Israel?

I'm not.

GOD loves her.

Despite her many faults, GOD's promises remain.

She will never perish.

She was chosen for his PERFECT purpose:

Isaiah 43:21

21 This people have I formed for myself; 

they shall shew forth my praise.

With every challenge, she produces more grit.

With every threat, she becomes more watchful.

With every attack, she becomes stronger.

With every bullying in the international scene, she remains on the "defense".

Smart one, this Israel, mind you.

And if TONS of terrorists think they can make her perish, well, they don't know GOD's math:

the Lord thy God hath chosen thee 

to be a special people unto himself, 

above all people that are upon the face of the earth.

7 The Lord did not set his love upon you,

Let the terrorists remain underground for as long as they've let the hostages there, too.

That's just fair.

No kid gloves with terrorists.

As if you didn't know that.

They forced Israel to release more terrorists in exchange for one hostage.

There again, the ratio was so unfair.

There's more where they're coming from, right?

When will we ever learn?
