Spirit of Ishtar

1 Corinthians 14:34-36

King James Version

34 Let your women keep silence in the churches:

for it is not permitted unto them to speak;

but they are commanded to be under obedience

as also saith the law.

35 And if they will learn any thing,

let them ask their husbands at home:

for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.

36 What?

came the word of God out from you?

or came it unto you only?

It was an instant alert for this born again watchman.

When I first saw her long, pointed, manicured nails.

And how she clung to the president, after her husband's death.

And at how her kids, family, and friends were not there onstage with her.

As she gave her marvelous speech, in honor of GOD, and her late husband.

And yet her many glittering rings distracted me.

The way she'd look up, flickering those lashes, exposing those lovely eyes.

And the measured, deliberate delivery of her speech.

She was alone on that stage, well-dressed, polished, poised.

In sharp contrast to her late husband, dressed in jeans, and shirt.

It would have been more believable if she was dressed the same, with her kids, family, and friends surrounding her, honoring the late Charlie.

But no, she was alone, hugging the limelight, through no solo fault of her own.

For the public allowed her that.

Many, mesmerized, at her beauty.

Perhaps, it was all for the benefit of the important guests, who came to show their support.

And yet, we are all an adulterous generation.

James 4:4

King James Version

4 Ye adulterers and adulteresses,

know ye not that the friendship of the world

is enmity with God?

whosoever therefore will be

a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

And this watchman thinks to herself, how the church had been infiltrated.

If not diluted.

For John the Baptist told us once:

John 3:30

King James Version

30 He must increase,

but I must decrease.

And Peter reminded us, as well:

1 Peter 3:3-5

King James Version

3 Whose adorning let it not be

that outward adorning of plaiting the hair,

and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel;

4 But let it be the hidden man of the heart,

in that which is not corruptible,

even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit,

which is in the sight of God of great price.

5 For after this manner

in the old time the holy women also,

who trusted in God, adorned themselves,

being in subjection unto their own husbands:

And when polished wife loudly declared they will be having many more chapters of their organization, with her being CEO, as everyone applauded, I shivered.

I knew the spirit of Ishtar was running strong, with no one the wiser.

And when the Catholic church calls Mary, the mother of JESUS, the "queen of heaven", I wonder if it's by intent to discredit, and defile the LORD, and His mother, as Satan is wont to do.

"Nor is there any indication in Scripture that Mary was ever worshipped or prayed to. To the contrary, the Bible is very clear and emphatic that only God is worthy of worship, and only God can receive your prayers."

The spirit of Jezebel (the woman of witchcraft) is merely honoring the spirit of Ishtar (the supposed queen of heaven).

1 Kings 21:25

King James Version

25 But there was none like unto Ahab,

which did sell himself to work wickedness

in the sight of the Lord,

whom Jezebel his wife stirred up.

Revelation 2:18-20

King James Version

18 And unto the angel

of the church in Thyatira write;

These things saith the Son of God

who hath his eyes like unto a flame of fire,

and his feet are like fine brass;

19 I know thy works, and charity, and service,

and faith, and thy patience, and thy works;

and the last to be more than the first.

20 Notwithstanding I have a few things

against thee, because thou sufferest

that woman Jezebel

which calleth herself a prophetess,

to teach and to seduce my servants

to commit fornication,

and to eat things sacrificed unto idols.

But who is Ishtar?

Let's turn to Scripture.

Jeremiah 7:17-19

King James Version

17 Seest thou not what they do

in the cities of Judah

and in the streets of Jerusalem?

18 The children gather wood,

and the fathers kindle the fire,

and the women knead their dough,

to make cakes to the queen of heaven,

and to pour out drink offerings unto other gods,

that they may provoke me to anger.

19 Do they provoke me to anger? saith the Lord:

do they not provoke themselves

to the confusion of their own faces?

Jeremiah 44:15-19

King James Version

15 Then all the men which knew that their wives

had burned incense unto other gods,

and all the women that stood by,

a great multitude,

even all the people that dwelt in the land of Egypt,

in Pathros, answered Jeremiah, saying,

16 As for the word that thou hast spoken unto us

in the name of the Lord,

we will not hearken unto thee.

17 But we will certainly do whatsoever thing

goeth forth out of our own mouth,

to burn incense unto the queen of heaven,

and to pour out drink offerings unto her,

as we have done, we, and our fathers,

our kings, and our princes,

in the cities of Judah,

and in the streets of Jerusalem:

for then had we plenty of victuals,

and were well, and saw no evil.

18 But since we left off to burn incense

to the queen of heaven,

and to pour out drink offerings unto her,

we have wanted all things,

and have been consumed by the sword

and by the famine.

19 And when we burned incense

to the queen of heaven,

and poured out drink offerings unto her,

did we make her cakes to worship her,

and pour out drink offerings unto her,

without our men?

Jeremiah 44:20-22

King James Version

20 Then Jeremiah said unto all the people,

to the men, and to the women,

and to all the people which

had given him that answer, saying,

21 The incense that ye burned in the cities of Judah,

and in the streets of Jerusalem,

ye, and your fathers,

your kings, and your princes,

and the people of the land,

did not the Lord remember them,

and came it not into his mind?

22 So that the Lord could no longer bear,

because of the evil of your doings,

and because of the abominations

which ye have committed;

therefore is your land a desolation,

and an astonishment,

and a curse,

without an inhabitant,

as at this day.

Jeremiah 44:23-25

King James Version

23 Because ye have burned incense,

and because ye have sinned against the Lord,

and have not obeyed the voice of the Lord,

nor walked in his law,

nor in his statutes,

nor in his testimonies;

therefore this evil is happened unto you,

as at this day.

24 Moreover Jeremiah said

unto all the people,

and to all the women,

Hear the word of the Lord,

all Judah that are in the land of Egypt:

25 Thus saith the Lord of hosts,

the God of Israel, saying;

Ye and your wives

have both spoken with your mouths,

and fulfilled with your hand, saying,

We will surely perform our vows

that we have vowed,

to burn incense to the queen of heaven,

and to pour out drink offerings unto her:

ye will surely accomplish your vows,

and surely perform your vows.

Her influence is so deep, even Resurrection Sunday has been called "Easter".

With many unaware, it came from "Ishtar".

Beware this spirit.

She has shown herself in my dream.

Of many decades ago.

A raging demon.

Mad at my discovery.

I know she's there.

And lives in many of us.

Pray to be born again.

Believe in the LORD JESUS.

So SPIRIT can teach you GOD's TRUTH.

JESUS makes evil tremble.

James 4:7

King James Version

7 Submit yourselves therefore to God.

Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

Women have always been at a precarious position.

Satan knows their value.

He's particularly focused on them.

He knows their "power" over men.

Precisely why he chose to tempt Eve first.

After which, Adam fell.

Genesis 3:1-5

King James Version

3 Now the serpent was more subtil

than any beast of the field

which the Lord God had made.

And he said unto the woman,

Yea, hath God said,

Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?

2 And the woman said unto the serpent,

We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:

3 But of the fruit of the tree which is

in the midst of the garden, God hath said,

Ye shall not eat of it,

neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.

4 And the serpent said unto the woman,

Ye shall not surely die:

5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof,

then your eyes shall be opened,

and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

In that fifth verse you can tell Satan wants himself recognized, for he is lord of evil.

He cannot bear to remain in "darkness", even as he is darkness.

He cannot bear that man will only know GOD, and good.

Genesis 3:6

King James Version

6 And when the woman saw

that the tree was good for food,

and that it was pleasant to the eyes,

and a tree to be desired to make one wise,

she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat,

and gave also unto her husband with her;

and he did eat.

Thus, the fall of man.

Genesis 3:7

King James Version

7 And the eyes of them both were opened,

and they knew that they were naked;

and they sewed fig leaves together,

and made themselves aprons.

Genesis 3:8-13

King James Version

8 And they heard the voice of the Lord God

walking in the garden in the cool of the day:

and Adam and his wife hid themselves

from the presence of the Lord God

amongst the trees of the garden.

9 And the Lord God called unto Adam,

and said unto him, Where art thou?

10 And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden,

and I was afraid, because I was naked;

and I hid myself.

11 And he said,

Who told thee that thou wast naked?

Hast thou eaten of the tree,

whereof I commanded thee

that thou shouldest not eat?

12 And the man said,

The woman whom thou gavest to be with me,

she gave me of the tree, and I did eat.

13 And the Lord God said unto the woman,

What is this that thou hast done?

And the woman said,

The serpent beguiled me,

and I did eat.

If there's the spirit of Ishtar, know how it all began:

Genesis 6:1-2

King James Version

6 And it came to pass,

when men began to multiply

on the face of the earth,

and daughters were born unto them,

2 That the sons of God

saw the daughters of men

that they were fair;

and they took them wives

of all which they chose.

Genesis 6:4-8

King James Version

4 There were giants in the earth in those days;

and also after that,

when the sons of God came in

unto the daughters of men,

and they bare children to them,

the same became mighty men

which were of old, men of renown.

5 And God saw that the wickedness of man

was great in the earth,

and that every imagination

of the thoughts of his heart

was only evil continually.

6 And it repented the Lord

that he had made man on the earth,

and it grieved him at his heart.

7 And the Lord said,

I will destroy man whom I have created

from the face of the earth;

both man, and beast,

and the creeping thing,

and the fowls of the air;

for it repenteth me that I have made them.

8 But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord.

Since that day in the garden of Eden, and when the fallen angels took notice of women, our lives have forever been changed.

Now, we know evil.

Now, we live in Satan's world.

Now, Ishtar lies in wait, and ambush.

Only through JESUS can we overcome evil.

Men and women need to read what SPIRIT led me to:

"WOMEN"
