A JEW, a HINDU, and a POLITICIAN in Tennessee

Proverbs 15:15

King James Version

15 All the days of the afflicted are evil:

but he that is of a merry heart

hath a continual feast.

I thought I'd be writing a serious article today, but after listening to that short video above last night, SPIRIT and I promised to feature it this morning.

Why?

Because it's always good to laugh at ourselves.

Especially at politicians who are "fool" of themselves.

Word play intended.

We can only laugh if there's no ego.

That's what breaks the "ice".

And may form "bonds".

Knowing we are all perfectly imperfect beings.

Subject to our rigid cultures, and funny foibles.

And TONS of sins, which only JESUS can forgive.

Another hilarious take is a short video on world leaders.

Ever imagined them as "babies"?

Well, check and find out:

"The REFRESHING president"

With the ability to lead, comes the ability to laugh.

Especially among politicians.

Not mocking each other.

But mostly laughing at self.

Humor melts egos.

When ego's gone, your heart is freed up.

You become real, free, honest, and childlike.

Not deluded in wanting to please all, and pleasing none.

SPIRIT and Scripture led me to a few verses on joy, laughter, and humor.

Our necessary balm for these crazy, chaotic days where demons abound.

Genesis 21:6-7

King James Version

6 And Sarah said,

God hath made me to laugh,

so that all that hear will laugh with me.

7 And she said,

Who would have said unto Abraham,

that Sarah should have given children suck?

for I have born him a son in his old age.

(What she didn't say here is in her old age, too.

But that's what makes everything funny.

At least, to us.)

Job 8:19

King James Version

19 Behold, this is the joy of his way,

and out of the earth shall others grow.

Job 8:20-21

King James Version

20 Behold,

God will not cast away a perfect man,

neither will he help the evil doers:

21 Till he fill thy mouth with laughing,

and thy lips with rejoicing.

Psalm 4:6

King James Version

6 There be many that say,

Who will shew us any good?

Lord, lift thou up

the light of thy countenance

upon us.

Psalm 4:7

King James Version

7 Thou hast put gladness in my heart,

more than in the time that their corn

and their wine increased.

Psalm 16:11

King James Version

11 Thou wilt shew me the path of life:

in thy presence is fulness of joy;

at thy right hand there are pleasures

for evermore.

Psalm 32:11

King James Version

11 Be glad in the Lord, and rejoice, ye righteous:

and shout for joy, all ye that are upright in heart.

Psalm 126:1-3

King James Version

126 When the Lord turned again

the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream.

2 Then was our mouth filled with laughter,

and our tongue with singing:

then said they among the heathen,

The Lord hath done great things for them.

3 The Lord hath done great things for us;

whereof we are glad.

Psalm 126:4-6

King James Version

4 Turn again our captivity, O Lord,

as the streams in the south.

5 They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.

6 He that goeth forth and weepeth,

bearing precious seed,

shall doubtless come again with rejoicing,

bringing his sheaves with him.

Proverbs 15:13

King James Version

13 A merry heart maketh a cheerful countenance:

but by sorrow of the heart the spirit is broken.

Ecclesiastes 3:4

King James Version

4 A time to weep, and a time to laugh;

a time to mourn, and a time to dance;

Ephesians 5:4

King James Version

4 Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting,

which are not convenient:

but rather giving of thanks.

Ephesians 5:19-20

King James Version

19 Speaking to yourselves in psalms

and hymns and spiritual songs,

singing and making melody in your heart

to the Lord;

20 Giving thanks always

for all things unto God and the Father

in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;

Philippians 4:4

King James Version

4 Rejoice in the Lord always:

and again I say, Rejoice.

And lastly, from JESUS:

Matthew 18:1-5

King James Version

18 At the same time

came the disciples unto Jesus, saying,

Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?

2 And Jesus called a little child unto him,

and set him in the midst of them,

3 And said,

Verily I say unto you,

Except ye be converted,

and become as little children,

ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

4 Whosoever therefore

shall humble himself as this little child,

the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

5 And whoso shall receive

one such little child in my name

receiveth me.

Matthew 19:13-15

King James Version

13 Then were there brought unto him little children,

that he should put his hands on them, and pray:

and the disciples rebuked them.

14 But Jesus said,

Suffer little children,

and forbid them not, to come unto me:

for of such is the kingdom of heaven.

15 And he laid his hands on them,

and departed thence.

And because GOD gave me a love, and ease for words, He made me understand His WORD better, through "WIRED for WORDS".

Where many "secrets" are embedded in "words".

And mainly from "KEY" words.

The happiest people are those who know GOD.

Who are born again.

Who know His laws.

Who know His will.

Who know His ways.

Who know His love.

There is no illusion.

No delusion.

Only clarity.

PEACE through JESUS.

And yes, TONS of laughter.

Mostly at ourselves.
