Ecclesiastes 4:9-10
King James Version
9 Two are better than one;
because they have a good reward for their labour.
10 For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow:
but woe to him that is alone when he falleth;
for he hath not another to help him up.
When challenges come, people think they're alone, but they're not.
We have much help, if only we'd see it.
It's not only friends, and family who help.
We were not born alone.
We had help, right from the start.
Here's what I found for my self:
GOD gave me perspective.
JESUS gave me peace.
SPIRIT gave me precision.
Scripture gave me the right posts.
Writing gave me pleasure.
Being born again gave me positioning.
Challenges gave me prayer.
Papa gave me prevention.
Baby sis gave me plenitude.
Family and friends gave me peso.
Faith gave me power.
All P's in a POD.
A safe haven to be in.
A smart bunch of help.
A source of joy each day.
A reminder to be grateful.
For everything has a reason.
And a purpose.
1 Thessalonians 5:18
King James Version
18 In every thing give thanks:
for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus
concerning you.
GOD gives us the ability to see the forest, from the trees.
He give us peace, power, and perspective.
We don't wallow in self-pity, once He makes us born again.
We become free of self-absorption.
All become clear, near, and dear.
And without fear.
We become living, breathing, tools for GOD's purpose.
Oh, that's another "P".
GOD gave us purpose.
He also gave us predestination.
He gave Israel covenants and promises.
JESUS also gave us promises.
I expect this list to grow.
As the days go by.
As SPIRIT prompts me.
For now, this is what He's made me write.
Have joy in your existence.
Love GOD above all.
Love others, as JESUS taught us.
That's a start.
And will make us all agreeable peas in a pod.
Surely makes for peace, joy, and harmony.
Something the world so badly needs.
Be a poet.
That's another "P".
Which helps you see greatly.
Through simple, heartfelt words.
Almost childlike, in its simplicity.
Just as the HOLY SPIRIT will teach you.
Which He does, with this watchman.
