26 And David spake to the men
that stood by him, saying,
What shall be done to the man
that killeth this Philistine,
and taketh away the reproach from Israel?
for who is this uncircumcised Philistine,
that he should defy the armies of the living God?
Oh, the things GOD makes me discover!
All because I am a watchman, and I love His WORD.
Do you know that Gazans have an ancient lineage?
And that Hamas is not surprisingly blood-thirsty?

Then, He specifically leads me back to that verse regarding the Gazans:
Zephaniah 2:5

5 Woe unto the inhabitants of the sea coast,
the nation of the Cherethites!
the word of the Lord is against you;
O Canaan, the land of the Philistines,
I will even destroy thee,
that there shall be no inhabitant.
Following SPIRIT's lead, we look into the "Cherethites", and this we discover:
"The Cherethites and the Pelethites were David’s bodyguards. David employed them as elite mercenaries, some of whom acted as his bodyguards, and others as part of his army (1 Samuel 30:14; 2 Samuel 8:18; 20:7, 23; 23:23)."
Whoa!
They were once king David's bodyguards?
Why have they turned against his nation now?
As "elite mercenaries", the Cherethites have that war-like blood in them.
Well, they did serve GOD's "man of war" -- David, the Goliath-slayer.
Goliath was a Philistine, too.
And you know his fate, at shepherd boy-David's hands.
Even then, young David was a warrior.
David became a great king, with JESUS, the "King of Kings, and Lord of Lords", coming from that line of "Juda".
David was such a feared, and respected king, for the strength and power GOD gave him.
1 Chronicles 28:1-3

28 And David assembled all the princes of Israel,
the princes of the tribes,
and the captains of the companies
that ministered to the king by course,
and the captains over the thousands,
and captains over the hundreds,
and the stewards over all the substance
and possession of the king,
and of his sons,
with the officers,
and with the mighty men,
and with all the valiant men, unto Jerusalem.
2 Then David the king stood up upon his feet,
and said,
Hear me, my brethren,
and my people:
As for me, I had in mine heart
to build an house of rest
for the ark of the covenant of the Lord,
and for the footstool of our God,
and had made ready for the building:
3 But God said unto me,
Thou shalt not build an house for my name,
because thou hast been a man of war,
and hast shed blood.
You can then imagine the fighting force that was David, and his men.
Cherethites are also known as "executioners".
"Others called the Cherethim “executioners,” who were ready to execute the king’s sentence of death (Genesis 37:36, marginal note; 1 Kings 2:25)."
But that's man.
Shifting loyalties.
Mercenaries have always fought for "pay".
Where they served a great king, now they fight his nation.
Which happens to be GOD's holy nation.
What's to become of the Cherethites now?
Well, their fate, and that of the Philistines, and Canaanites have been sealed.
Ezekiel 25:15-17

15 Thus saith the Lord God;
Because the Philistines have dealt by revenge,
and have taken vengeance with a despiteful heart,
to destroy it for the old hatred;
16 Therefore thus saith the Lord God;
Behold,
I will stretch out mine hand upon the Philistines,
and I will cut off the Cherethims,
and destroy the remnant of the sea coast.
17 And I will execute great vengeance upon them
with furious rebukes;
and they shall know that I am the Lord,
when I shall lay my vengeance upon them.
Zechariah 14:21

21 Yea, every pot in Jerusalem and in Judah
shall be holiness unto the Lord of hosts:
and all they that sacrifice shall come
and take of them, and seethe therein:
and in that day
there shall be no more the Canaanite
in the house of the Lord of hosts.
There's no use going against Israel.
She is loved, and chosen by GOD.
He already told all of us His love for Israel:
Genesis 12:3

and curse him that curseth thee:
and in thee shall all families of the earth
be blessed.
Wake up, Gazans!
Surrender now, Hamas!
Quit your proxying, Iran!
Turn to JESUS now.
Cease from oppressing Israel.
It's a lost cause.
