born again OP-ED: REVIVING American SHIPBUILDING

1 Thessalonians 4:11

11 And that ye study to be quiet,

and to do your own business,

and to work with your own hands,

as we commanded you;

It took me at least two weeks thinking about America's capability, and readiness.

Can she pick up where she left off since the last world war?

This thing about "shipbuilding".

All because president Trump first mentioned it during his 5 March 2025 first joint address to Congress.

I let the matter settle in my heart.

Except it kept flitting, and floating.

Remaining elusive.

Never settling.

It took an especially hefty turn yesterday.

I found myself studying TONS of material on labor, and history.

And, of course, as born again watchman, I had to remain BIBLICAL.

Was America ready to get back on board?

Can she re-industrialize?

Could she give it one more shot?

Were workers available for the shipyard?

President Trump conceded America has to buy some ships first.

At least, while she's reviving her shipbuilding industry.

And only the Department of the Navy, and the proposed U.S. Office of Shipbuilding, know how long that would take.

The good thing is Trump's Cabinet was on board.

But the main question in my mind was, "Does America have workers to fill the gap?"

Hasn't the covid crisis taken out the sails from American workers' wings?

Are Americans still of the maverick "We can do it!" spirit?

Hasn't the WEF prepped the world to have 15-minute cities, sanctuary cities, and programmed people for woke left, DEI, ESG, and climate change -- with particular emphasis on America?

And then here comes a powerful president.

He challenges all norms.

Ordering all federal employees to go back to work at their offices.

Signing an executive order to get back America into shipbuilding.

You can imagine the woke left, and DEI roar.

But you can also see a re-energized, hopeful America.

Could America see Trump's vision?

Does America still have the energy for it?

Are people still interested in "shipbuilding"?

Are they interested in defending their nation?

Or has the woke "virus" been deeply embedded in their brain?

What spirit have they got left?

So, I prayed last night.

Letting GOD take over my jumbled thoughts.

To please put some semblance of order.

So that when I wake up, an article would be ready.

And then today, a curious thing happened.

The HOLY SPIRIT led me to "Rosie the Riveter".

Of course, she's been there all along.

In case you know nothing about her, we share excerpts from Wikipedia:

"Rosie the Riveter is an allegorical cultural icon in the United States who represents the women who worked in factories and shipyards during World War II, many of whom produced munitions and war supplies."

"Women responded to the call of need the country was displaying by stepping up to fill positions that were traditionally filled by men. They began to work heavy construction machinery, taking roles in lumber and steel mills as well as physical labor including unloading freight, building airships, making munitions, and much more."

"Over six million women got war jobs; African American, Hispanic, White, and Asian women worked side by side."

"In 1944, when victory seemed assured for the Allied Forces, government-sponsored propaganda changed by urging women back to working in the home. Later, many women returned to traditional work such as clerical or administration positions, despite their reluctance to re-enter the lower-paying fields.[14] However, some of these women continued working in the factories."

All Americans need to take president Trump seriously.

It may look like he's boasting, but he really has been right all the time in this second presidency.

How can he be wrong when GOD chose him to lead in these most precarious times?

So, if you're a boomer, a millenial, generation X, Y, Z, Alpha, or even LGBTQ, it's time to be concerned about America's security.

As Trump urged Ukraine's Zelensky for peace, he had to remind him, "You may not have a country left.".

That's exactly what Trump's critics, and slackers, need to think about.

If you do not participate, and defend your nation, there may be no America left.

The same goes for every other nation.

Every nation has to think PEACE through JESUS, secure their borders, fortify their "fortresses", and support decent leaders.

America can become GREAT again.

She has a GOD-appointed president.

That alone ensures she gets on the right path.
