17 Every good gift and every perfect gift
is from above,
and cometh down from the Father of lights,
with whom is no variableness,
neither shadow of turning.
Perhaps, it's because I'm born again.
Maybe, it's also because I have no expectations.
It's possible, it's because I have a childlike heart.
In all probability, it's because GOD doesn't want our work interrupted.
So, when the search engine conked out three days ago, He gave me a hard copy of a dictionary last night.
He knows I am particular with words.
My mom had no idea I needed a dictionary.
My old dictionaries had been feasted upon by termites.
She randomly purchased one from "Doulos Hope", the floating library.
It was docked up north, where they also happened to be.
I've visited such a ship some 30 years ago, when I was still in the big city.
Is having a dictionary such a big deal?
Well, it is if you knew my little story.
Three days ago, the search engine went kaput.
I didn't know for how long.
And I do a lot of online research.
So I told myself, if that kept on, I'd have to rely on a hard copy.
I'd be needing a dictionary.
Well, the following day, the search engine normalized.
Still, GOD gave me a dictionary, through my mom.
And a kid's dictionary yet!
The kind I like.
Oh, and that's not all.
It also had the following BONUS contents:
-- Maps of continents and countries.
-- Info on U.S. states, presidents, and 188 countries.
-- The "Declaration of Independence" and "U.S. Constitution".
-- Conversion charts for weights and measures.
EXACTLY all the basic info I needed, apart from my Bible.
When you work for GOD, you'd know a TRUE gift when you see one.
Could Satan really hinder my work?
He tried, many times -- to no avail.
GOD wants His WORD shared.
And we've been at it since September 2019.
SPIRIT guides me what to write.
He gives me the verses.
He gives the "leads".
He gives the "subjects".
He's my go-to for everything.
He knew the temporary setback I faced, as the search engine failed that day.
We're not about to stop work, just because it did.
We kept writing, no matter what.
And just so you know, I didn't pray for one.
It just occurred to me to have a dictionary.
Just in case the "glitch" remained.
GOD did better.
He gave me one.
He knows my heart.
A kid's dictionary it is.

Relish it, savor it, and keep being grateful.
The best part is when you don't ask for it.
And yet, it is given.
