King James Version
6 We are of God:
he that knoweth God heareth us;
he that is not of God heareth not us.
Hereby know we the spirit of truth,
and the spirit of error.
My very first "encounter" with Hungary was through "Hungary: Rapsodie Mignonne, Opus 410" by Carl Koelling.
I was but 15 years old then.
A Catholic nun gave me that piece to play at my last piano recital, so many decades ago.
She was hoping I'd go on to have my premier recital, but I chickened out.
I always "chicken out" when I know I won't pursue it fully.
I'm always for authenticity.
Strange, I was a shy, quiet, gentle-hearted person, melting in the woodworks, but the nun gave me a "bombastic" piece to play.
I didn't know if I could muster it, but I did.
Of course, not as well as the amazing, young lady above.
Nevertheless, the Slavic tone remained in my heart to this day.
Not having a piano anymore, I'm content listening to the video above.
Best of all?
I am grateful to GOD for making me born again in 2019.
Now, I can fully appreciate Hungary.
Especially with what I learned yesterday.
Hungary's prime minister, Viktor Orbán, welcomed Israel's prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, to his country.
Orban welcomes Netanyahu as Hungary announces withdrawal from ICC
Orban also pulls out from International Criminal Court (ICC).
That court has an arrest warrant for Netanyahu.
And I feel that's shameful that ICC did that.
They absolutely have no understanding of GOD's laws.
Nor of His love for Israel.
Not to mention, an affront on GOD's chosen nation.
Netanyahu was merely defending his nation.
As any leader would do for his embattled nation.
These attacks on Israel are a sign of the end times.
This is a Biblical warning on the ICC and others like them:
Isaiah 5:20
King James Version
20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil;
that put darkness for light, and light for darkness;
that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
Scripture also says the wicked shall perish.
Thank GOD there's an Orban who stands his ground.
This, as he shows support for Israel.
An act that greatly pleases GOD.
Genesis 12:3
King James Version
3 And I will bless them that bless thee,
and curse him that curseth thee:
and in thee shall all families of the earth
be blessed.
Orban is also not keen on supporting Ukraine's war.
Seems in alliance with U.S. president Donald J. Trump's peace initiatives.
As we all know, Netanyahu was Trump's first visitor at the White House, soon as he took office.
Next week, another Netanyahu visit is scheduled.
This will be an interesting alliance to watch.
Israel, America, and Hungary.
Such are the countries that think for themselves.
I was also able to know more about the Jewish community in Hungary in the 1940s:
"Historically, Hungary was home to a significant Jewish community, with a pre-World War II population of more than 800,000; however, it is estimated that just over 564,000 Hungarian Jews were killed between 1941 and 1945 during the Holocaust in Hungary.[206] Between 15 May and 9 July 1944 alone, over 434,000 Jews were deported.[207] Of over 800,000 Jews living within Hungary's borders in 1941–1944, about 255,500 are thought to have survived. There are about 120,000 Jews in Hungary today."

That's how deep the connection Israel has with Hungary, and vice-versa.
I also learned how STRATEGIC Hungary's location is:
"Hungary[a] is a landlocked country in Central Europe.[2] Spanning much of the Carpathian Basin, it is bordered by Slovakia to the north, Ukraine to the northeast, Romania to the east and southeast, Serbia to the south, Croatia and Slovenia to the southwest, and Austria to the west."

Through JESUS, all countries will have peace.
Starting with peace within each one of us.
Which, only by being born again, can we be taught by SPIRIT.
Netanyahu, Trump, and Orban are on the right path.
One is Jewish, the other Presbyterian, the other from a reformed church.
Interesting things to ponder on.
